Jacobs are proud to announce that we have achieved the Investors in People Gold accreditation, surpassing the industry average IIP Silver (previously held by Jacobs since 2015).
Jacobs have a clear strategic vision and values driven by the Partners, Senior Managers, and every member of Team Jacobs throughout the business. Following a very comprehensive and detailed inspection of our organisation inclusive of staff surveys and interviews throughout October 2018, we were delighted to receive such positive feedback from the IIP accreditation specialists and staff members. Jacobs have significantly exceeded the benchmark for both the Industry and IIP average benchmark in all key indicator areas below:

- The IIP assessment report findings say
“It can be seen that at this overall level the company is performing better than the sector average and somewhat better than the IIP average for all companies in the survey across all sectors”.
The specialist assessor, Stephen Stirk, further quoted in the report findings: “This has been the first assessment of Jacobs against the generation 6 Investors in People Standard which has resulted in the very creditable outcome of achieving the Gold level of award. All the staff of Jacobs are to be congratulated on this achievement and encouraged to take forward the feedback and recommendations here to an even better result in future.”

Jacobs now plan to continue to further develop the organisation and its journey to be the biggest and the best in the industry. We are now aiming for IIP Platinum status as we celebrate our 60th anniversary.
